Susan Heisey Family About Susan

As a transplant from Connecticut, I have lived in Eugene for 24 years. My husband, Bill, and I have a neat 15-year old boy, Dylan! My expertise in real estate budded many years ago as Bill and I devoured R.E. classes and began investing in rental properties. I am a now seasoned Principal Broker and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), having built my successful real estate practice over the course of The Great Recession.

Many of you already know me through one of my many other involvments in our community. I may have coached your child in crew or soccer, or worked with you as your graphic designer. You’re a fellow South Eugene High parent — you’re a friend, neighbor, or tennis partner. Perhaps my husband Bill painted your house!

I love Eugene. We’re a dynamic group living in an emerald valley.   Get out and enjoy!

About Service

I’m often taken aback when people speak of real estate brokerage as a sales position. I couldn’t disagree more! Since my youth I’ve been in the service industry — and I’m here to tell you, this job is not about selling houses. It is service, service, service. You have a party that wants to sell, and a party that wants to buy. As a Realtor® I work hard to help my clients reach their goals, and professionally assist these two parties to come together. There are a million little details, and tending to every one is my job. I believe strong referrals stem not only from previous sales, but the ease and care that went along with those transactions.

“It was the process that made all the difference…”

Serving Greater Eugene/Springfield—
Specializing in South Eugene Real Estate

Yes, I specialize in South Eugene real estate. I do so because South Eugene is my home. I know South Eugene, including the University of Oregon area, more thoroughly than other areas. I know South Eugene real estate better than most local Realtors! It is where I run, where I play tennis, where my son goes to school, where I shop, where I LIVE. I do, however, have extensive experience throughout our greater area. In recent years I've sold homes in Junction City, Monroe, Harrisburg, Creswell, Springfield and Santa Clara. I welcome all business within the Greater Eugene/Springfield area and think highly of all areas for their unique qualities. But if you're looking for an experienced agent to buy or sell in South Eugene, look no further!

My interest in South Eugene is not all about real estate!

I have lived in South Eugene for 20 years.

I Chair the Advisory Committee at our YMCA Tennis Center.

I know many of the local shop keepers — I give them my business whenever possible.

Testimonials

Susan was so wonderful to work with and I couldn't be happier with my new home. As a first-time home buyer, this process was completely new to me and at times was overwhelming. Susan was great at keeping me informed and giving me advice along the way. She checked in with me often asking me questions to fine tune what I wanted in a home and found the perfect place within my price range. When I was deciding to make an offer, Susan was very respectful of my emotional state and was patient and supportive as I processed this big decision! She helped me find a great inspector, and negotiate a needed repair. Susan was with me every step of the way and I couldn't be more grateful for having such a kind and wonderful realtor! —Anna Waite

We had a very short time frame to move across the country to Eugene and Susan came highly recommended by my husband's new coworkers. She was amazing! She was reassuring from the very beginning that we would be able to find a house we loved and close on it by our moving date, and she was right! She responded promptly and thoroughly to our millions of questions and concerns and helped us through this process as first time buyers. She knows Eugene well and was honest about the neighborhoods, schools, and general feel of certain parts of the city. She took my husband on a three day touring of many different homes and worked with us to make the cross country move as easy as possible. And to top it off she dropped by with a very thoughtful and generous house warming gift as soon as we moved in! Susan is amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a new house!   —Courtney Dearinger

Susan was very helpful in arranging and coordinating various services and repairs to the property as I, the seller, do not live in Eugene. I felt she really went the extra mile to get things done and she was always accessible. I highly recommend her. —Wendy Morseth
