U of O’s “Treetops” Estate for Sale!
2/6/25 Every once in a while a property comes on market, and it truly is newsworthy. This incredible 8,073sf estate on 1.5 acres in the heart of the Fairmount neighborhood in Eugene, is just that! Built in 1911 it was later gifted to the University of Oregon in 1938 by Campbell Church Sr. to be used as the residence for the Chancellor of the State Board of Higher Education. Time has come for the University to find new stewards for this historic and remarkable home.
A couple years ago I had the great honor to tour “Treetops”. I was struck by its Craftsman and bas-relief details, period charm, and the sheer magnitude of it all. It is truly special, and steeped in a rich history. Learn more here…
Who will be its next owner? With an asking price of $2.5m it will need to be someone with capacity to additionally invest in the property to bring it into the modern era. This may not be you or I, but who do you know who might find this interesting? I welcome all your ideas. Perhaps together we can be part of this Eugene legacy. 🙂
2237 Spring Blvd. is listed with Team Burke at Triple Oaks Real Estate in Eugene.
